Our Gîte is located in Curzon, a small village 15 minutes drive from the coast (La Tranche Sur Mer), supermarkets and restaurants are 5–10 minutes away. You can either fly to La Rochelle and hire a car, the journey time from there is around 50 minutes or you can drive from St Malo in around 3 hours. If you use the Eurotunnel it’s a 6½ hour drive.

The Gîte has a double bed in the sleeping area, a lounge/dining area with terrestrial tv, a DVD and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge, microwave, along with all the essentials you need along with a welcome pack to get you started.

We provide a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, barbeque and it is also possible to hire bikes

Sheets and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels) Our pool is also available for your use. .

Located in the west of France, the Vendee is graced with 2,500 hours of sunshine per year. There are 140kms of sandy beaches along the coast, 18 of the beaches are Blue Flag resorts. There is something for everyone from cycling to fishing, canoeing to bird watching and for the gastronomes the Vendee coast produces an abundance of seafood.
